Brooklyn Pride 2025: parade, dates and hotels

We have all the latest information on Brooklyn Pride 2025. Brooklyn is home to hipsters, brownstones, and Barbra Streisand. It's a perfect place to have a gay old time: we're kvelling already!

Scheduled for Saturday, June 14, 2025, the event will feature the Brooklyn Pride LGBTQ+ 5K Run/Walk in the morning, a multicultural festival in the afternoon, and the Twilight Parade in the evening. The theme for this year's celebration is "Rooted in Pride".

The Twilight Parade

The Twilight Parade, unique as the only evening Pride parade in New York City, will illuminate 5th Avenue in Park Slope, running from Lincoln Place to 9th Street.

Brooklyn Pride History 

Brooklyn Pride's origins date back to 1996, when a group of local residents sought to create an event that would bring visibility to the borough's LGBTQ+ community. Prior to this, many LGBTQ+ Brooklynites traveled to Manhattan to find community spaces and gay bars.
