Chakran's latest facility, a rooftop onsen ("Ikuze") - the first men-only onsen in town - has become increasingly popular. Customers are mostly Thai, Asians and some Westerners.

The nearest gay sauna to the Silom gay bars. Sauna Mania has 5 levels with facilities including a small gym and a rooftop terrace. Some areas are very dimly lit, and the stairs are steep, so be careful!

The sauna gets busy after 5pm on weekdays, late afternoons and on the weekends. More frequented by Thais but foreigners are welcome.

From Saladaeng station, walk down Convent Rd for about 5 minutes, then turn right on Soi Phipat 2. The entry fee is 320 THB for regular days and 440 THB for special events.

New Sathon Sauna is located in Sathon, Bangkok and offers a clean and simple sauna experience. They have free snacks and drinks from the buffet. Traditional massage is also available.

Silom Sauna is a male-only sauna in Bangkok that's stripped of the fancy trappings of modern saunas but provides an old-school Thai-style sauna experience instead. The sauna is hot and there is a pool of cold water in the facility, allowing guests to do hot-cold contrast therapy. Massage is also available.

The friendly Heaven Sauna welcomes everyone without an attitude. Facilities include a rooftop garden with an open-air jacuzzi and shower. There is karaoke downstairs.

To get to 'Heaven', take the elevator to the 4th floor behind the furniture shop. Closed on Mondays.

Farose claims to be the largest gay sauna in Southeast Asia. Faros II features a jacuzzi, dry sauna, swimming pool, gym, dark room, private cabins, karaoke, dancing room, restaurant, free drinks, etc.

Foreigners are welcome, though the crowd is mostly Thai. The sauna has another branch Farose Saphan Kwai - also open until very late.

Located near Phra Ram 9 MRT station. From the station, walk towards Fortune Town mall, follow the side alley at the end of Tesco Lotus . Turn left at the end of the gate and take another left, the sauna will be on your right.

Or walk to Ratchada Soi 3, and at the first intersection (7Eleven on the corner), take a left and continue walking for about 300 metres.
