Exciting Events for Cape Town Pride

Over the years, Cape Town Pride has held various events throughout February to celebrate the LGBTQ+ community. Among the things to look forward to in the 2026 celebrations are the following:

Cape Town Pride Opening Party - Get into the spirit with a party at Zer021 Social Club!

Pride 2025 CTL Picnic - This family-friendly afternoon at Green Point Urban Park is the place to connect and make new friends.

Mr & Miss Cape Town Pride 2025 - An evening of glamour and talent at  Joseph Stone Auditorium.

And these are just the highlights! Other events include Pride Village Drinks, Pride Hike, and a talent show!

Cape Town Pride March and Mardi Gras

Cape Town Pride March 2026 begins at 11am in Alfred St. de Waterkant. As the parade concludes, the Cape Town Mardi Gras starts! This final event of the Pride month calendar celebrates the diversity of Africa's rainbow community. Expect gay-owned food stalls, bars and refreshment stations, children's area and more.
